  1. I wouldn't attempt to explain - however the term "cathodic" protection has come up on this forum in the past, and there is a far better explanation available on the web than I could offer ...☺️

  2. Calling the CA DMV is a serious time commitment starting with the 1-2 hour hold time before you even talk to a human. Then the information you get will be incorrect running you in circles. I would try AAA first.

  3. Last summer I was coming home from a 7 day old car tour. Along the way my brake lights stopped working. I made it to within 2 miles of my house when a sheriff's car pulled me over. I figured he noticed the brake lights. Nope, he wanted to know about my YOM plate. These plates are legal in Vermont and easy to get. The cop had never heard of it before. I had the current plate and registration in the car as required. I also had a printout of the Vermont statute on YOM plates -- a nice and helpful (yes, nice and helpful) guy at the DMV advised me to carry it as "someday you'll run across a cop who doesn't know the law." So I showed all that to the cop and he let me go and thanked me saying, "You saved me a lot of time. I would have had to look through a book 3 or 4 inches thick trying to find that." He never mentioned the brake lights. Pete

  5. I installed an "Old Air Hurricane" unit in my P15. Works well and I'm pleased with it. But it is a 12 volt unit....don't know if they offer a 6 volt version.

  6. more to AC than physical size...you must be able to meet the BTU requirement of the compartment and window loss...you don't cool a 2500 sq foot home with a 7500 BTU window unit....basically you going to need about 14000 BTU

  9. Darn collector bolts loosened up again! The passenger side lost two nuts and sounded a little extra cackly last night when I was hotrodding around. It didn’t come loose enough to backfire on decel but this is the second go-around with these things. I never tried the stage-8 locking deals but they make a collector bolt setup that has tab nuts so once you start the threads you can just tighten the bolt with one wrench. That should be super helpful in my tight bay. Other than that I’ve really been enjoying the truck. My wife traded in her camry for a v6 charger- now my driveway is home to fourteen hundred and twenty two cubic inches of mopar power!

  11. now that you have further defined your ignition system to that of electronic...lets go one step further and call the name of that set up. There are some factors regarding set up on a couple of these that will cause snorting wheezing popping and blowing of the mind...

  12. These motor mounts should have a few more years in them.....but I decided to replace them anyway......pretty bad when you have to replace stuff every 72 years..... The reason there is no photo of the lower mounts is because they were.......GONE! As in "they done left the building....gone". I was dreading getting enough clearance to swap out the the mounts but there was more than enough to pull the old and insert the new. PlymouthyAdams, think this might help my clutch chatter?

  13. Larkin............when you say the "lug studs" .....does it have left & right screw in bolts or left & right studs that use left & right nuts.........here in Oz as all Oz built mopars, ............ Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto & Chrysler up till the introduction of the Valiant here in 1961 all were Plymouth based and used the left & right screw in bolts but I understand in the USA the differing brands had differing wways of attaching the wheels............lol............andyd
