  1. There are two photos of my Granddaughter Adele who will be a year and a half this coming week. She is sitting in my Plymouth and my friend's '35 Plymouth. Both photos were taken today. Just had to share these with the other Grandfather's who understand how proud we are

  2. I think you're going to have to provide more specific information before you'll get an answer to that question. What vehicle are you working on? What vehicle is the replacement pumpkin out of? What axles are you hoping to use? I'm pretty sure the knowledgeable forum members here will be glad to help you out if you give them all the information you can on what you want to do. Wayne

  3. I don't know of any obvious differences between a 46 and 47. However, there are several differences between a Deluxe and a Custom. The Deluxe was the the less expensive model, it came with vacuum wipers, no chrome trim on the interior side window garnishes and no directional signals. The Custom model had electric wipers, chrome trim at the base of the nterior of the side windows and factory installed directionals that have small arrow indicator lights next to the high beam indicator above the speedometer. (although the directionals may not have been available until 48). The Custom also came with 10 inch diameter hub caps whereas the Deluxe had 9 inch. Also, I believe the 47 and 48 models came with 15 inch rims while the the 46 had 16 inch rims. I hope that this helps, and if I am mistaken about any of this, I'm sure some other forum member will correct me. Dave

  4. Good plan; you know you would never forgive yourself if they got hurt in your old car. Marty

  5. Seeing this will finally get me to put seat belts in my back seat so I can legally take my own 5 yo granddaughter and 3 year old grandson out in my Wayfarer. I bought them 2 years ago and they have been sitting on my workbench. Yes being "Grandpa" to these kids is one of the few rewards of getting old.

  6. Good to hear you've got it back on the road. Were it me, I'd get a rebuild kit and fix the old pump and put it on the shelf. But that is largely because that type of part is not easily available for my older car and I'd rather have a known good spare part on the shelf when I need it and not have to wait while trying to find a supplier, buy it and wait for it to be delivered. Rather have the car drivable than have it be a object of art stationary in the garage.

  7. There is one on each side next to the radiator support rod. I am sure I am using the wrong terminology. Mine fit nice, I think I got them from Ropberts.

  8. Granddaughters are special. Mine bravely went with me up to Sequoia National Park on my first outing. Great day. A pizza stopover was the reward.
