  2. The value of parts I need that are in this vehicle exceed what the car cost me and I have the car body for a future project or a Christmas give to Yound Ed. It will go into storage after I have picked what I need and I will concentrate on the convertible. The car is in Fresno about 25 miles from me so a tow dolly will be sufficient to get it home. It is a 54 which I like and has two sets of front fenders and hoods. The rocker panels are solid and the floors as well except for the front driver and passenger side. So. . . in a week or so watch the for sale list. Most of the stainless steel trim is in the car. If anyone needs a fuel tank, there is an extra.

  5. Hey Route Van Joe, thanks for the explaination, makes sense now. Have wondered why you painted it. Have seen it several times now at BTT'50s and North St Paul. Still a good looking truck, definatly one you don't see often, which makes it cool. Mike

  6. Maybe this is another one for the old tech not necessarily being obsolete. I like my P15 Starter button.

  7. Were it me I would replace the disc, replace the throw out bearing, send the pressure plate out for a rebuild, remove the flywheel and have it re-surfaced, and replace the pilot bushing. Much easier to do it now while it is apart and the cost is not that much. Several folks myself included have used Tennessee clutch for pressure plate rebuilds, replacement pilot bushings, and disc replacement. They are quick and inexpensive. These parts will fit into a USPS flat rate box so freight is cheep.

  11. My Dodge B-1-F 1 1/2 ton was an old farm truck that started it's career in Limon, Colorado. It has a 128-inch wheelbase. When I got the truck, it toted a-12 foot grain bed, and the odometer registered 58,000 miles. After I bought the Dodge, I restored it very close to original, and made a wrecker out of it. Now it has an easy life attending shows and driving in parades. It’s been a fun project, and the yellow Dodge gets a lot of attention.
