Original plate & AAA stickers

fhubler

As I was leaving after making the purchase I said to the seller, "I will look for a 1948 plate to register it with" and he said, "Oh, wait a minute, I'll be right back...  Here, this was with the car if you want it."  I pointed out the AAA stickers and he said, "Yea, in case they broke down on the way to the post office & back.  I don't think they ever shifted out of 2nd gear."
